God of Cricket

Sachin Tendulkar has earned the label that has been used to describe him as the phenomenon of Hinduism's living gods A.K.A. "The God of Cricket". If you ask anyone in the world to describe Sachin Tendulkar in a few words, the answer you will probably get is that he is "The God of Cricket".
How you ask? By just being the best player in cricket off and on the field! and that is when you can call yourself "God and not a King". When you have earned every SINGLE Indian's respect and trust in the game we call cricket.

How do you become one? Nobody seems to know, it just happens. The public choose you when they think you have supernatural powers.
"For many people in India life is hard and they need something to help them escape from their mundane and daily existence" and one way to help themselves is by "The cricketers and movie stars , so some Indians try and thank them by worshipping them."
Here are some other cricketers who have played with the god of cricket himself in their times and some comments they have made on Sachin.
Matthew Hayden former Australian cricket player says he's seen "God".

Retired Brian Lara, former West Indies player has compared Sachin to other gods in their sports!! WOW unbelievable.

A famous indian actor - Amitabh Bachchan puts more priority on watching Sachin play for India than making his own films!!! OMG

But the 43 year old, who is a devout Hindu,"God" aka Sachin has said he does not like the phrase he gets from people. He recently told his adoring fans that he "is not a god as he makes mistakes and gods do not". But that had little or no impact AT ALL on many or ANY of his disciples, because Sachin for some is an example of a living god and NOTHING can change that.

Indian cricket team captain Mahendra Singh Dhoni (M.S Dhoni) has described Sachin as his role model and that iconic batsman’s humility and passion for the game was an inspiration for him and others. Dhoni and the rest of the team also said “When there were all growing up, they used to watch Sachin. He was like God to all of us; How? He just had that aura around him, just his presence made us do better and become like him.”

The "God of Cricket" is not only an inspiration to cricketers! but EVERYONE who has ever talked or heard about him as he was an ideal person to look up to and also to see what he has achieved in his career by playing cricket!

Sachin:  "A Billion Dreams" is one of a kind movies being made right now, which explains how he as one person unites the whole country of India by what he loves doing best....playing cricket and being himself. It also entails about his past and how his parents were his biggest motivators and how they taught him to be successful in his own terms.
